Of the 2,354 people living in Berwick in 2019, 51.8 percent (1,220) were women and 48.2 percent (1,134) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the South Maine News.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by a ratio of 690-to-663. In the 65 and over age range, there were 201 females and 133 males.
