It’s Spring Time which means it’s time for the Road Rangers to get back out and pick up trash and litter strewn around the Town of Kennebunk. This amazing group of volunteers has taken on the mission of keeping the Town's roadsides as clean as possible during the spring, summer and fall months.
The group meets weekly on Thursdays from 9am to 10am in an area of Town that they identify as needing a “pick-me-up”. Once they’re done, they enjoy a cup of coffee together to socialize and enjoy one another’s company.
The Department of Public Services is pleased to support the Road Rangers and assist them by picking up the large items they pull out to the side of the road and the many bags of trash and litter that they collect.
Please keep an eye out for these volunteers working on the roadside over the next few months and to do your part in keeping our community clean. Maybe someday they won't have to clean up and can just meet for coffee!
