Of the 8,952 people living in Old Orchard Beach in 2020, 50 percent (4,474) were women and 50 percent (4,478) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the South Maine News.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by 460. In the 65 and over age range, there were 1,675 females and 909 males.
