Of the 1,985 people living in Berwick in 2020, 57.3 percent (1,137) were women and 42.7 percent (848) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the South Maine News.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by 102. In the 65 and over age range, there were 263 females and 75 males.
