The Old Orchard Beach Police Department would like to introduce, welcome and congratulate our newest full time Officer, Cameron Valentine who was sworn in yesterday surrounded his family, friends and coworkers.
Cameron hails from Westwood, Massachusetts however, since he was born he has been spending his summers here in Old Orchard Beach.
After high school, Cameron attended Norwich University, the oldest private military college in the country. Cameron graduated from Norwich in April of this year with a bachelor of arts degree, majoring in Criminal Justice, as well as a double minor in leadership studies and psychology. Through Norwich, Cameron earned a commission into the Massachusetts Army National Guard where he also serves as a 2nd Lieutenant for the 972nd Military Police Company. Cameron joined our department in 2020 as a Reserve Officer, where he served in that position, up until now.
