The Old Orchard Beach Police Department is excited to announce the recent promotion of Captain David Hemingway to the rank of Deputy Chief.
Deputy Chief Hemingway was hired by the Old Orchard Beach Police Department in 1992 where he served as a Patrol Officer until 1997 when he became a Detective. In 2006 he was promoted to Detective Sergeant and 2016 to Captain where he served until this Tuesday when he was sworn into his new rank at the Town Hall while surrounded by his friends and coworkers.
Please help us with congratulating Deputy Chief Hemingway with this achievement. We are grateful to have him serving our department, community and town guests from this new rank.
