In response to last Friday's storm, the CCSO would like to thank all of our first responders, 911 operators, public works departments, and utility service workers and tree companies. Their response to the storm was remarkable. During every holiday season of giving, these workers give far more than they ever receive.
To get a sense of the impact in rural Cumberland County, the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office responded to nearly 100 weather-related calls for service from through 1600hrs today. These calls exclusively were limited to the 15 communities who receive primary law enforcement services from CCSO.
