Beach permits are required to park in any of the beach parking lots or on-street areas from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. between June 15 and Labor Day each year.
Resident beach permits can now be purchased online. You must upload a copy of a VALID vehicle registration for the vehicle listed on the permit. If the vehicle registration does not show a physical street address in Biddeford, you must also attach/upload proof of Biddeford residency (tax bill, utility bill, lease, etc.). Please note that UPS Safety, the company that provides this online program, charges a $2.50 processing fee for online purchases. Once your beach permit has been approved, you will receive a confirmation email. Please print out a copy of the confirmation email and display it in the vehicle’s front windshield, driver’s side, with the plate number visible. You will NOT be issued a beach permit sticker to display. Your license plate number will be used to confirm your permit registration.
Permits are also available for purchase in person at the City Clerk's office during regular business hours (Monday - Tuesday 7 AM - 5 PM, Wednesday - Thursday 8 AM - 4 PM). At the time of purchase, you must provide the registration of the vehicle that you would like to register for a permit.
