Cost of college went down for all students at The Landing School

Tuition and fees fell 6.4 percent for 2018-19 at The Landing School, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Maine students paid $21,315 to attend the two-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $1,460 less than the $22,775 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 92 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 12 students received grants or scholarships totaling $124,511 and 4 students took out student loans totaling more than $34,000.

Including all undergraduates (61), 41 students used grants or scholarships totaling $350,456, and 18 students took out $148,500 in federal student loans.
