The past few months have brought an acceleration of our transformation efforts across many areas of the College. Many of these initiatives are happening behind the scenes, while others are very visible markers of progress. One critical milestone we’re proud to announce is the appointment of Dr. Monique LaRocque as Sr. Vice President for Learning and Programs. Dr. LaRocque comes to Saint Joseph’s from 18 years in the University of Maine system, the last eight as Associate Provost for the Division of Lifelong Learning at UMaine Orono. Dr. LaRocque’s work in support of learners and faculty members and in the development of new programs in multiple modalities will build on the progress that we’ve made this year. Please join us in welcoming Monique to the Saint Joseph’s College community.
