The Colby College Men's Track and Field Team competed in the Bowdoin Invitational against the Bowdoin College Polar Bears and the Colby-Sawyer College Chargers. The Mules bested both teams to come in first place with the Polar Bears coming in second and the Chargers coming in third.
Colby finished the meet with 153 points while Bowdoin finished the meet with 122 points and Colby-Sawyer finished with 49 points. In addition to the overall win, the Mules won first place in ten of their events. For track events, Raghav Kadambi got first place in both the Men's 200 Meters and the Men's 400 Meters. Simon Goldstein got the win for Colby in the Men's 800 meters while Liam McGoldrick held the lead in the Men's 1000 meters where Colby won both first and second place. The Mules also got first through third place in the Men's Mile lead by Danny Reyes. Rounding out the track events Ben Mellor got first place in the Men's 3000 meters while Hayden Bailey, Gordon Doore, Liam Carcich, and Nathan Goodman were the winning team for the Men's 4x800 relay. For the field events, AJ Feldman got first place in the Men's High Jump by hitting the 1.75m meter mark, Junnan Shimizu won for the Mules in the Men's Long Jump, and Kevin Yan finished out the meet with the Men's Triple Jump.
Next Saturday, January 21st, the Colby College Men's Track and Field Team will travel to Norton, Massachusetts for the Wheaton Invitational.
