The Mules returned home today to take on the visiting Polar Bears to get their first NESCAC win of the season. Colby came out firing, building a 22-point halftime lead. They were able to use this to their advantage and coasted to their first NESCAC victory of the season. The win takes the Mules to 14-5 and drops Bowdoin to 7-11.

Colby used a mixture of strong shooting, defense, and aggression to build a commanding lead. The Mules put up 16 points in the paints and five off of turnovers. Will King led the scoring in the first half with 12 points. Max Poulton followed him with nine and Noah Tyson with six.

Colby continued to shoot the ball well during the second half as they hit 45 percent of their shots and kept a second-half Bowdoin rally at bay. However, the Mules struggled to control possession as they committed eight turnovers allowing the Polar Bears to crawl back into it a little. Lucas Green led the second half, scoring eight points in his return to the lineup. King and Poulton each contributed another six and five, respectively.

Colby takes an eight-day break before returning to the court to face off against Connecticut College on January 29th at 3 pm.
