Endicott College had six players score in double figures during a 95-70 men's basketball result versus the University of New England in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action Tuesday night (Jan. 24) at MacDonald Gymnasium.

The Gulls (12-6, 8-3 CCC) shot just over 50 percent for the game (36-of-71), which included 13 three-pointers. EC had a 35-point scoring edge when the ball was live, and made the most of nine offensive rebounds, netting 15 second-chance points.

Jalen Echevarria led the way with 15 points, while Dillon Grant and Ty Vitko each put up 11. Parker McLaren did, as well, while grabbing a match-high eight rebounds. Drew Brown and Max Grenert registered 10 points apiece. Stephen Fama supported with seven boards, five assists, and five steals.

For the Nor'easters (2-16, 0-11), Jayden Thornton topped all scorers with 16 points. Zach Boulay and Adrian Torres tallied 12 and 11 points, respectively. Ryan Lin collected six rebounds.

Endicott notched 10 straight to take an early 12-2 cushion, and led 29-17 just past the midway mark of the 1st half. But the visitors netted the next nine, including five from Kyle Lombardi, to stay in touch (29-26). However, two treys by Grenert sandwiched a triple from Tate Matte to put the hosts back up by double digits (40-30). It stood at 45-34 halfway through, and remained above 10 the rest of the evening.

UNE is slated to visit Roger Williams University on Saturday.
