Duane Romano/Softball Coach | York County Community College
York County Community College is excited to announce Duane Romano as YCCC inaugural softball head coach. Coach Romano has coached the game of girls’ softball for over 30 years. He coached numerous different skill levels, ranging from travel to high school, while also providing one-on-one private lessons since 1992.
Coach Romano numerous coaching successes have culminated in multiple trips to the national tournament with the club teams he has been a part of. These include leading his teams to more than seven national tournament berths. He has over 40 tournament championships and more than 25 runner ups. Coach Romano is ready to build a softball family at YCCC, as he comes with a great deal of softball knowledge and a passion for the game.
Coach Romano and his wife, Randi, reside in Lebanon Maine. In addition to his years of coaching Duane owns Mikini in Sanford Maine, an embroidery and screen-printing business. He and his wife have two college aged children, Matthew, age 22, and Madison, age 19.
